Management Board
Since starting his own company at the age of 15, Rob has accumulated over 20 years’ worth of experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategic consulting, and international management. After consulting for some of the leading health and pharmaceutical companies during his time with one of the BIG4 professional services firms, Rob went on to serve as the Head of International Marketing for a leading Swiss retail group (encompassing over 25 individual companies). In addition, he co-founded a software development company and was the CEO of two renowned enterprises in the International Health Insurance and Health Management fields. Rob also holds a doctorate in Public Healthcare Management.
As a longevity enthusiast and lifelong tech geek, Rob believes that the more you know about your body, the more you can improve your health and wellbeing. He is currently developing solutions and programs to help others do exactly that.
With an extensive background as a hands-on programmer and architect – and in the leading of international teams – Dan brings decades of experience in building and supporting software solutions across several diverse industries. With two software patents and several published technical papers under his belt, he continues to strive towards finding unique ways to approach any challenge. When Dan’s father was diagnosed with cancer – and a colleague shortly thereafter – he worked towards a solution that integrated medical records, wearable devices, and genomics to improve treatments in these areas.
Dan also holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and – as an early adopter of wearable technologies – has been tracking his own personal data for almost ten years.
A pioneer in healthcare, James co-founded the free association of diverse “whole-system philosophy” practitioners that today integrate their efforts in a relationship-centered primary practice which he proudly calls home: the House of Holistic Health. With early beginnings in the field of Biokinetics, John has read for several degrees in the health sciences, culminating in a postgraduate degree in Integrative Medicine. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Stellenbosch’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. James has also completed the CTG Manuka Translational Genomics course and – with clinical experience fuelled by 23 years’ worth of constant inquiry – he currently focuses on precise health strategy-development through using DNA/genome analysis and the exciting new fields of genomics. Through this, John is looking to create lifestyle balance, disease risk-reduction, and higher performance levels based on an individual’s genetic variance.
He has been fortunate to work with several World Champions and Olympic medallists in the sporting codes of gymnastics, track, road and mountain-biking, surfing, SUP surfing and SUP racing.
An International Events Executive with extensive project management background, Alexandra formerly worked as Head of Experience for the world’s leading lifestyle social network. She has many years of experience in organising state-of-the-art events across four continents, working with cross-cultural teams and delivering projects in challenging environments.
Alexandra is passionate about well-being and is committed to creating opportunities for people to thrive – and elevate their health – through longivetity-focused programs and solutions.
With more than 25 years’ worth of hands-on experience leading data teams across the US and internationally – and including building a mental health Electronic Health Record – John has run advanced analytics projects for several companies in Silicon Valley across multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, gaming, financial, and app delivery services. Upon losing both his parents to cancer, John – along with a close colleague – built a data platform to monitor treatments and general health, which is the very DNA of Biolytica.
John’s passion is to combine data from various sources, have it tell a story, and point towards a pathway.
Whilst completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Business Management at Regents University, Marie worked at both an entertainment app start-up and a creative agency in London. Upon leaving university she started her own consulting company, advising clients on digitalisation, marketing, and public relations. Pursuing her lifelong passion for health and fitness, however, Marie soon after began building an international client base as a unique genetics-based personal trainer and functional fitness coach. Working one-on-one with clients – and as a group fitness instructor – she utilises High Intensity Interval Training and boxing.
Marie’s main goal is to improve her clients’ athletic health and reduce injuries, and teach lifelong fitness and movement skills through a holistic approach, thereby empowering her clients’ optimal way of living.
As Registered Dietician, Simone’s clinical practice follows a functional medicine approach and is anchored in Nutrigenomics. After completing her Honours in Neurophysiology and Dietetics, Simone turned to Nutrigenomics, embracing the genomic age and joined a multi-disciplinary, clinical team in the delivery of personal longevity solutions.
Now, her focus is the exponentially-evolving field of optimal nutrition for longevity.
Carron is a musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist, with over 22 years of experience. She also trained in Pilates and has integrated Pilates principles into her rehabilitation, core classes and movement practices throughout her career.
Due to her interest in an integrative, holistic approach to health and longevity, she transitioned into becoming a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach.
Coaching clients to make real and lasting changes to their health and wellbeing through nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep and other lifestyle elements, is her true passion. Health coaching is a powerful tool to help clients discover their innate goals and potential.
As a physiotherapist, Carron is uniquely qualified not only to help you to rehabilitate your movement system to optimal condition, but also to understand and coach you through changes you would like to make. Whatever your challenges are, Carron is committed to helping you to achieve your nutrition, weight, strength, fitness and movement goals.
A serial investor and entrepreneur who started his first company straight out of college, Jörg – after only three years – successfully excited that company. Following his passion to build companies that make an impact, Jörg established – amongst other companies – a leading European IT asset management strategy consultancy which he sold to one of the BIG4, whereupon he served as Global Lead Partner for a further four years. Jörg has, since then, invested in more than 25 start-up and mid-sized companies, with nine out of ten of the start-ups becoming successful (including two IPOs and 1 Unicorn).
Shown to be a good hand in building and investing in companies, Jörg is a member of selected Advisory Boards and teaches Entrepreneurship and Innovation at a leading university in Germany.
Marc P. Bernegger is a serial-tech entrepreneur who has been following developments in the field of longevity since 2009.
Besides co-founding the longevity company-builder Maximon and the Longevity Investors Conference, he is involved in the crypto hedge fund AltAlpha Digital and is among others in the board of CfC St. Moritz and the Swiss Blockchain Federation.
Marc explored Bitcoin in 2012 and was a founding shareholder and board member of Crypto Finance Group (acquired by Deutsche Boerse in 2021).
Marc started his entrepreneurial journey by founding the party platform usgang.ch right after college (acquired by Axel Springer Media). He is also a co-founder of amiando, a ticketing platform, which was purchased by Xing and named “Global Technology Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Marc holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Zurich and is an alumni of the Singularity University.
Urmi joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in June 2021 as President of EMEA. Her focus is to provide an enterprise view of Thermo Fisher’s value proposition whilst driving sustainable growth. She has 25+ years of global experience in biotech, biopharma and healthcare, including senior positions at Roche, Novartis, Immucor, Chiron and G.D. Searle.
Urmi has industry experience in molecular diagnostics, cancer genomics, infectious diseases, point of care and medical devices, clinical laboratory testing and respiratory care. She has leadership experience delivering results with global cross-functional teams in strategic planning, business development, portfolio commercialization and new market expansion throughout EMEA, Asia, and South America. She has also worked extensively with governments and policy organizations to drive sustainable growth in emerging markets
Having studied and worked in over half a dozen countries, these experiences strengthen her ability to demonstrates reliable and visible leadership in transformational times, embracing cultural evolution to build alliances and mobilize partners for success.
Urmi has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, an MS in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Houston, a BA in Biology and French from Rutgers University, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the American School of Paris. She is fluent in English, French and Hindi, and is dinner party ready in Spanish, German and Bengali.
Martin is a transformation architect and enrich the strategic movers and shakers of his clients with his experience in operational excellence enabled by technology. He strongly believes in the powerful combination of machines and people and he is passionate about new technologies and longevity, and about creating a better world for the new generations. His industry focus is the consumer retail, consumer health and life sciences industry.
Martin has over 20 years experience leading large transformation programs for multinational companies, with a particular focus on Customer Centricity and AI Experience in the real world as well as in the metaverse. He worked mainly for consulting companies most recently being a Partner in McKinsey and EY. He has successfully supported 50+ clients designing and deploying their AI & Automation projects with the aim of reducing cost, increasing revenue, and managing risk. He is involved in driving the technology agenda for corporate clients as well as in building out its attacker businesses to disrupt classical business models. He has helped software start-ups and private equity investors in various stages in scaling their business models or growing their investments. He is currently serving as an advisory board member of Biolytica and is appointed to the permanent role of the Managing Partner of Infosys Consulting in Switzerland.
